Lynne King and volunteer helpers provided a choice of nature themed crafts suitable for adults and children, a tombola and a %u2018Hook a Duck%u2019. All activities were well supported by families and individuals over the two days. Funds raised will be used to provide much needed supplies for the frontline soldiers and rehabilitation hospitals in Ukraine. Lynne makes up comfort bags and is happy to receive donations for these. Please contact: 07766425523.Steve back to frontVolunteer Steve Senior, who has travelled to Ukraine in the past, has gone back with supplies and aid for Ukrainian people. Here is his message, sent before he left: Myself and co-driver and friend Phil Hayes will be leaving the UK on 23rd July and travelling to Odesa via Lviv. We will spend 4-5 days in Odesa and then, hopefully, visiting Dnipro, and then on the return leg we will visit Ternopil and then Lviv, a total of approximately 18 days.We will be taking 1,200kg of essentially frontline medical supplies, anti-drone nets, camoufl age nets, generator, power banks, folding camp beds, walking aids, comfort bags for soldiers and hospital patients, including specialist gift bags for amputees. We will also have gifts for a children%u2019s home and items for a day care centre for physically handicapped children and Ukraine%u2019s leading eye hospital in Odesa.
