Last month the crew went to our workshops at BFRS Aylesbury Fire Station and picked up our new fi re engine.This 2017 Volvo is an upgrade from our previous appliance, boasting new electric rescue equipment, a more powerful pump, more modern technology, and greater room in the cab for our fi refi ghters, just to name a few of the upgrades.A huge thank you to our stores and workshops team for their support in getting the fi re engine ready for us.The new appliance offi cially went %u2018on the run%u2019 available at 11.30am this morning, and received its fi rst emergency incident at 12.44pm, marking the start of its busy life here at Olney.If you see us out and about on our new shiny fi re engine, give us a wave.Buckinghamshire Fire & Rescue Service
