And it all starts in Northampton, says Phonebox%u2019s Tom Johnston.Brian Cox %u2013 All About Me! takes to the road for an 18-date tour on 1st October at Northampton%u2019s Royal & Derngate Theatre and then visits venues all over the UK and Ireland, before fi nishing in London%u2019s West End at the Adelphi Theatre in November. Brian will take audiences on a journey through his life and incredible career %u2013 from the backstreets of Dundee to the glittering lights of Hollywood %u2013 a journey that is full of laughter and pathos. Expect candour, searing honesty, and hilarious stories. In Act 2, Brian will be joined on stage by producer Clive Tulloh, who will put questions from the audience to him.%u201cI am looking forward to this tour as it marks something a little diff erent for me %u2013 sharing the stage with myself,%u201d said Brian. %u201cAs the title indicates, the show will focus more than ever on my life and career. In the second half, the tables are turned and the audience will have the chance to put their questions to me. It should be a lot of fun.%u201dOne of the greatest actors of his generation and winner of numerous prestigious awards for both stage and screen, Brian Cox is known for his infamous character Logan Roy from the international hit TV show Succession, for which he won a Golden Globe. Over Brian%u2019s 65 years in the acting business, he has also been the recipient of a Primetime Emmy Award, Screen Actors Guild Award and two Olivier Awards. He has appeared in numerous fi lms, including Rise of the Planet of the Apes, The Long Kiss Goodnight, Fantastic Mr Fox, The Boxer, The Bourne Trilogy, Rushmore, Churchill, Super Troopers, The Ring, 25th Hour, Troy, Red Eye, Zodiac, The Escapist, Coriolanus and Manhunter.Brian has written three books: Salem to Mosco An Actor%u2019s Odyssey, The Lear Diaries, and his autobiography, Putting the Rabbit in the Hat.
