Local young people (aged 11-18) are invited to discover what it%u2019s like to work at The Parks Trust, the charity caring for Milton Keynes%u2019 green spaces.Students will be able to meet some of the Operational team caring for more than 6,000 acres of landscapes, see the equipment involved, and watch live demonstrations of machinery in action! They%u2019ll also fi nd out about opportunities on off er and how to get involved in caring for nature.Organised for school leavers as well as secondary school-aged students and their accompanying adults, the Trust%u2019s teams will be at the Education Centre in Howe Park Wood between 1pm-3pm on Thursday 29th May.Howe Park Wood provides a safe home to many endangered animal and plant species and has been designated a Site of Special Scientifi c Interest for its wildlife value by Natural England.Laura Beechey, Outdoor Learning Leader at The Parks Trust says %u201cThe careers showcase is an opportunity for young people to think about future career options and ideas.
