Deputy Town Clerk
Sandra Grummitt is leaving her position as Deputy Town Clerk to Olney Town Council at the end of February after 20 years
of service to the town. She has been a stalwart and willing deputy to numerous town clerks and now sadly has decided the time has come to try new ventures. Sandra has been the quiet organising hand behind Dickens of a Christmas, the weekly market and the smooth running of the Olney Centre. And of course we came to rely on her for keeping check the town’s nances and many other things. Always there for you with her quiet smile or a chuckle, she will be missed. Councillors, Centre users and others gathered in the Olney Centre for a presentation to her as we all felt we could not let her go without saying goodbye properly. Needless to say Sandra would have liked to slip out without a fuss. Goodbye Sandra, and thanks for everything you have done for the town.
