THere WaS a great deal of excitement at Stoke goldington Ce First School recently when everyone celebrated the royal Wedding. all pupils participated in three days of activities which included writing invitations, designing bunting, research into the royal family tree, and cake making complete with traditional red, white and blue decorations. Suitably attired wedding guests arrived on the final day and enjoyed a special lunch which included a slice of wedding cake. Cheers!.

Our meeTing On 11th of June was a happy affair in more ways than one. ron and Debbie Hall joined us and ron outlined something of the work and time involved for preparation of stories with lots of fine art work to include.
i cannot remember any meeting without a new arrival so our circle goes from strength. The final good touch this time was the excellent Summer weather; we were able to sit out in the garden as our picture shows.
new to writing, or maybe not sure you can do so? Please don’t be shy, we are quite simply a bunch of friends feeling our way forward for pleasure and just possibly for profit.
The next meeting at The Two Brewers is set for July 9th. meetings are always held on the second Saturday of the month.
