Or just to do at all? While you might not have a hard and fast resolution up your sleeve you might, like millions of people, have something in mind that you would just like to try to achieve over the coming weeks and months. There are lots of common ones of course. Going on a diet, cutting down on alcohol, reducing your sugar intake, joining a health or fi tness club and becoming a member of a local group or association are among them. But there are lots of others too. Drink more water. Cut down on processed foods. Read one new book every month. Try regular vegetarian food. Ditch social media once a week. Save a little money every pay day. Waste less food, water and other consumables. Or how about taking a 15 minute walk every day, no matter what the weather? We cover off the vegetarian question in our Foodie section (p.34) and there%u2019s our usual %u2018Club of the Month%u2019 on page 10. Have a look at our interesting guide on non-alcoholic drinks on page 39, while our Quiz Corner feature (p.62) is about using up leftovers. You%u2019ll fi nd our regular Book Review on page 38.Those are all good starting points and, thankfully, as Olney, Newport Pagnell and the surrounding villages off er us a safe, friendly and appealing area in which to live, the chance to fi nd new and exciting interests is made relatively easy for everyone. If ever there was a time to make a real change in your life and stick to it, then this is it. A new month, a new year. A new dawn?Good luck with whatever you decide to do that%u2019s diff erent this year. And if you have success with it, let us know. We%u2019re always delighted to hear from you.Happy New Year to all of our lovely readers, advertisers and contributors.Ron Hall, Editor
