Every nine minutes on average, an evacuation of someone who has been wounded is attempted. The donated vehicles can help to make sure those rescues missions are a success. They are also stocked with supplies when the group drives them to Lviv for handover to the rescuers. Vehicles and aid %u2013 delivered to where they are needed most. The group would welcome any assistance as they look to increase the number of available vehicles they have. Clearly it is a known fact and alludes to all the nice things that occur during the season of goodwill such as the spirit of generosity shown as we celebrate this Christian festival. The phrase highlights the fl eeting nature of a celebratory occasion no matter what that occasion is. %u2018Christmas has come early%u2019 is another phrase we hear on occasions through the year and it generally means that something exciting and fortunate has happened to us unexpectedly. By listening to a CRMK show, Christmas can come 52 times a year! For those who like extended musical pieces then Christmas can actually come 52 times a year particularly if you like to broaden your listening experience with what progressive rock can off er. Presenter Kev Slaymaker%u2019s Between Two Worlds show every Monday evening from 8pm off ers exactly that as he plays a diverse mix of %u2018progressive%u2019 sounds that spans the decades and traverses the world. Similarly, those who like shorter songs of a punk and Oi nature need look no further than Anarchy in MK. Presented by Chelsea John and Colin every Sunday from 4pm until 6pm, the show spans the decades and traverses the world like Between Two Worlds but most defi nitely unlike Between Two Worlds, it continues to have the biggest listenership of all the shows on CRMK. Of course, there are other shows on CRMK that off er a totally diff erent listening experience and most will be playing festive songs over the Christmas holiday. From Christmas tree to decorations, foodstuff s and carols there are interesting facts to learn about Christmas traditions that you may hear if you listen to CRMK including about the phrase itself.Christmas comes but once a year is the title of a 1936, 8 minute long, animated fi lm that highlighted the themes of showing compassion and being generous over Christmas. The phrase%u2019s origins though seem to stem from Thomas Tusser, an English farmer of the 16thC who is best known for giving practical advice on agriculture and household husbandry through poetry. In his %u201cFive Hundred Points of Good Husbandry%u201d poem is the couplet; %u2018At Christmas play and make good cheere, for Christmas comes but once a yeere%u2019.Most radio show listeners listen to a particular show because of the music, the chat or the presenter whether that be a national or local radio station. With Christmas seemingly getting earlier every year through advertising and the like, the spirit that embodies Christmas is all around us so how about giving a show a listen. With Newport Pagnell based CRMK, family and friends are the main supporters but we need all the support we can get and I%u2019m sure that Keith and Keith, Nigel, Phil, Louise, Terry, Paul, Graham, Brian, James and James, Jeff , George, Steve, Jon, Glyn and Zlata would appreciate it.
