So Phonebox Magazine set up a JustGiving page and nearly %u00a31,200 was raised. The target, though, was just over %u00a32,100. Richard was worried that with the electrics and other parts that were damaged in the scooter could fail when he was out and about. The BOFF committee stepped in and purchased a scooter, so Richard is at least back on the road again, sooner rather than later.Richard met with Phonebox to discuss cancelling the campaign, he was concerned about being seen around town on the scooter and it did not seem right to ask for contributions. But that still left him with a shortfall in money required to cover the amount required. We have decided to keep the page going until the end of January, so anyone who wants to help out can still give to help shore up the diff erence needed. We would like to thank everone who has contributed and to put everyone in the picture of what is happening. Thanks to all, for contributing. It has meant a lot to Richard.JustGiving.com/crowdfunding/richards-scooterThank you, one and all, says Richard
