                                 HaMeX
Model Show
The model show that started it all - HaMeX - is on again on 8th December at Hanslope Village Hall. Intended as a 'swap meet' for model-makers to buy and sell kits and accessories, just in time for Christmas, it's ideal for anyone still scratching their head for that 'present with a difference'. Partoffourmodel-based showsthatnowrunthroughout the year, including the smallspace space and SF show in July, HaMeX started as the Hans/ape Model Expo five years ago, and has now become a permanent fixture. However, it is still intended as a 'fun event', with the primary aim to raise funds for the Village Hall.
So come along for that last minute 'interesting present'. Refreshments are available day at the 'K-9 Cafe' - ably run bythe Village Hall Committee, (and, you never know, maybe K-9 as well?!), and this time of year their excellent bacon butties are a must.
Co-organiser, Mat Irvine, is intending to put on a large
display of models, including many from Doctor Who that will have been on display at the 50th Celebration Event at the ExCel Centre in London over the weekend 22- 24 November. So if you missed that, here is a second chance.
Times are 10.00am to 5.00pm, on 8th December 201 3 at Hanslope Village Hall, Newport Road, Hanslope MK1 9 ?NZ. Entry is £2, accompanied under-16s are free.
A very few selling tables are still available - contact co organiser Paul Fitzmaurice for details 01234 711980, or email: paul@hamex.co.ukMore details at: www.hamex. co.uk-which also now links to our Facebook page. See you there! Mat Irvine.
