NOTICES:
The Olney branch of the RBL is now planning the 2013 Poppy Campaign and is, as ever, short of volunteers for street collections. As in previous years, we plan to collect from as many of Olney’s streets as possible, but our main target will be a static location at one of the major supermarkets on this side of Milton Keynes.
Anyone who can give up a couple of hours to help raise funds for the poppy appeal should let the branch know either by an email to rbl. olney@gmail.com or by calling Chris Roberts, branch chairman, on 01234 713 510. –––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––– The Monday Club in Olney is looking for a volunteer. Would you like to prepare a meal for 25 elderly people once a month? If so, we would love to hear from you. We are looking for someone who would like to choose the menu, shop for the ingredients and cook the meal. You would lead a team of willing, happy helpers, who find volunteering rewarding and fun. Call Beryl on: 07725184002 for more information. –––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––– Have you been thinking of joining the Senior Citizens Club which is held on a Friday at The Olney Centre at 2pm?
Then why not come along on Friday 6th December when Alan Haughton and his Friends will be entertaining. You would be most welcome, and may well be tempted to join us for the coming year, when there are varied speakers and events. –––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––– Cobbs Garden Surgery:
