The club has been going for many years but is not very well known and is a useful local sports facility for anyone interested in squash.
Lavendon Branch of
The Royal British Legion
The Lavendon Branch of The Royal British Legion has done it again!
They just been awarded the Sir John & Lady Hall Trophy from Bucks County for the best three-year average results for the Poppy Appeal. This is the third time they have won it in the last five years and it is an amazing achievement for a small branch and a great result for their new Poppy Appeal Organiser, Mike Hartwell.
The award was presented at the Members' Social Evening on 10th March by Mike Barry, Bucks County Chairman.
We are a small club of around 50 members with two heated squash courts available all year round.
There is a league/ladder system and also open/handicap competitions to encourage members to play each other competitively, or if they prefer members can book courts to play friendly matches.
Membership and court fees are very competitively priced, full detail available, together with contact details and directions on our website:

AUTOMODELLISMO
It is the only specialist model car show in the UK, and it will be held on Sunday 15th April at the Village Hall, Newport Road, Hanslope. Organised by Paul Fitzmaurice of Olney and Mat Irvine, of Hanslope itself, it’s one of the three model shows they hold each year at this location, under the overall HaMeX name, (Hanslope Model Expo).
If you want to see car modelling at its very best, with displays from model clubs near and far – come along. You’ll be greeted by a number of full-size cars parked directly outsize – and this year these include a real American Muscle Car - a 2009 Mustang, a racing Morgan and a limited-edition BMW – and there’ll be more.
More details on www.hamex.co.uk. For any queries, or any modeller who wants to show off their model car creations – or has a full-size classic car they want to show off - call Paul on 01234 711980, or Mat on 01908 510191.
