Can anyone shed any light on it, it seems to have fallen into disrepair and I thought looked rather sad. Perhaps it could do with a makeover. Yours
There is ongoing extensive consideration of the proposed model of Olney station and the goods yard. The cost and time commitment means that it may be developed in stages probably starting with the passenger station. In the meantime it has been decided to build a small shunting layout to familiarise members with the newer control system called DCC which allows simpler control of several trains running at the same time. Another attraction for some is the facility to add realistic sound to loco operation. Many proprietary models are now supplied equipped with working sound and lights. The photograph shows members considering the very early stages for the design. The existing exhibition layouts are still having extra detailing added to improve both appearance and mechanical performance.

The rest of the yellow lines are of a much thinner nature and I am sure that if that design was followed for the bus stop markings things
The club membership is still increasing but we are seeking more new members of any level of skill and experience, from beginners to experts, to assist in building the layouts or just to run their trains on a much larger track than most people have available at home.

The AGM returned all the existing committee members to their posts, an indication of the members satisfaction with progress in the club over the previous twelve months.
It has been a little while since the last report, so a review of this year’s activities so far is needed.
would look a lot better. Or do they have a dual purpose to help pilots locate Cranfield Airfield?
