Tickford Park
Here at tickford Park we have been thinking of others recently. this started with the school being asked to be involved with the design of the new play park in riverside Meadow, behind the school. the school council rose to the challenge, researching possibilities and canvassing opinion from all age groups before presenting their plan to the council, who made it happen. the whole school attended the opening with Mayor Wendy egan, Mayor of Newport Pagnell, and the children all look forward to testing the new equipment.
Next, Years 3 and 4 considered remembrance day and all it stood for. they walked into Newport and studied the war memorial, looking at all the local people who gave their lives in wartime, before presenting an assembly for parents and friends on this theme.
then came children in Need day, when we all got spotty for Pudsey! Various fundraising activities took place with everyone wearing something spotty or even painting their faces to raise the magnificent total of £402.29.

Olney & District Mothers & Wives Club
You don’t have to be a wife or a mother, but it is essential to be female!
We meet at the Olney Centre on the 2nd Wednesday of each month at 7.30pm.
Our small, friendly group would welcome any lady who would like to make new friends and enjoy a chat.
We have a birthday party in January and a secret Santa with seasonal food in December, and interesting speakers in between.
Membership is £5 a year and £2 a month which includes tea/coffee plus raffle tickets.
