A Young Audience for The Bookshelf Club
Over the fOrthcOming weeks Alison molyneux the author of the first releases by the Bookshelf club will be visiting local schools to read the stories to groups of foundation children.
Alison will visit harrold Lower School on Wednesday 28th September to read to their reception class. She will then make two visits to Olney infant Academy on Wednesday 5th and tuesday 11th October to share Bookshelf club stories with the foundation stage children.
During these visits Alison will read ‘Swish the fish’ and ‘the thud in the Wood’, both picture books suitable for 3-6 year olds. Alison will also involve the children in a picture competition, with the winning pictures being featured in future issues of the Phonebox magazine. So keep a look out for future issues of your local magazine: the Phonebox.
