ON THE 21ST July The Estha Jones School of Dance premiered their first Dexterity Dance showcase at the Castle theatre in Wellingborough.
ESTHA JONES, LEADING TEACHER AND CHOREOGRAPHER in Northamptonshire, has worked extensively with dancers and rhythmic gymnasts from recreational level to British elite. Estha has set up this school over the last twelve months aiming to bridge the gap between gymnastics and dance producing multi skilled, elite performers. Since working as a dance artist Estha featured as speciality act combining rhythmic gymnastics with commercial and contemporary dance. In twelve short months on, Estha is passing on her skills to the next generation of professional dancers.
The show embraced an eclectic mix of dance styles from street to Irish, contemporary dance, musical theatre and rhythmic gymnastics, culminating in a grand finale of a Beatles trilogy, embracing swinging sixties and psychedelic seventies.
Featured artists included; Jenny Craigie and Jamie Higgins
Estha closed the show thanking performers, artists, crew, management
and Wollaston Secondary School.
