Jaipur Limb Charity Dinner
The RoTaRy Club of Newport Pagnell has been holding an annual Charity dinner in aid of the Jaipur limb
Project at the award winning Jaipur Restaurant in Milton Keynes for the
last 14 years. This has raised around £30,000 for this very worthwhile cause.
The 15th consecutive Dinner will be held on Monday 21st of February 2011. This extremely popular Dinner is one of the highlights of the Clubs fundraising calendar, so an early reservation is recommended.
The entire restaurant is booked exclusively for this event and includes a specially created four course menu with a
complimentary welcome drink thrown in for good
measure.

established in 1985, the bulk of their work in India revolves around special ‘limb Camps’, with as many as 3000 patients per camp turning up for fitting of the "Jaipur limb" - an artificial leg, developed at the Mahaveer hospital in Jaipur, India.

technology and western technology is the cost - whereas a western limb will cost between £1,000 and £2,000, a Jaipur limb can be made and fitted for as little as £25." The Project is also active in africa and areas that have suffered recent earthquake disasters by establishing new permanent centres and providing on-going support by way of technician training, materials and equipment.
