followed by a visit to the British museum on 3rd February. The forthcoming three month’s lecture programme is listed below in detail.
For those who are not familiar with naDFas, particularly the north Buckinghamshire
branch, we meet on the 2nd Thursday of the month in the lovat hall, newport Pagnell. exceptions are July, august and December. Coffee is served from 10.15 a.m. followed by the illustrated lectures at 11 a.m. Full details are available on the website, see below, that
includes maps and much more information. all lectures are delivered by nationally accredited people in the fields of art, architecture, heritage and many other diverse subjects. new members and guests are always very welcome.

The visit by coach
on 3 February will be to the British museum to have a tour of the acclaimed exhibition, ‘Book of the Dead’, the ancient egyptians’ perceived journey from death to the afterlife. later, in april, a visit to the Jacobean style hatfield house which is celebrating its 400th anniversary this year and there is an optional tour of the henry moore exhibition.
additionally, the Church recorders are still carrying out their work and the dedicated group (now 17) is always ready to welcome new members.
