NURSES
THERE MAY COME a time in our life when we need to call on the service of a Nurse.
Cobbs Garden, like many Medical Practices, has two types of Nursing Staff – Practice Nurses and District Nurses.
Both types of Nurses are equally qualified and possess the same skills. Both are based at the Surgery – but there are two main differences between them:
District Nurses work directly in the homes of Patients – usually the housebound or people who have just returned home after hospital. A Patient needs a referral from either the GP or the Hospital. To contact these Nurses, after referral, call 0844 477 8612 – Option 3
Practice Nurses see the Patient at the Surgery – they NEVER make home visits and a GP or Hospital referral is not required. To contact these Nurses, call 0844 477 8612 – Option 2 (Appointments) request Nurse appointment
