retirement. The
eggs produced are
plentiful and these
are sold on to pay
for the food and
bedding. The
children take it in
turns to feed them,
collect the eggs
and maintain the henhouse.
Later in the year we plan to invite older members of the community in to enjoy a lunch prepared from all the produce grown – eggs will be on the menu of course!
