Ouse Valley Partnership Schools
North Crawley CE School and Stoke Goldington CE First School are awarded the prestigious Primary Quality Mark
Governors and staff at both North Crawley CE School and Stoke Goldington CE First School are delighted that the Basic Skills Agency’s ‘Primary Quality Mark’ has been bestowed upon both partnership schools in recognition of their high standards in Literacy and Numeracy. Both schools were assessed on ten different elements which included planning to improve performance in basic skills, an analysis of the assessment of pupil performance, target setting for the improvement of the schools' performance and the use of a range of teaching approaches and learning styles to improve basic skills.
“The achievement of high standards in Numeracy and Literacy for both Stoke Goldington CE First School and North Crawley CE School through the awarding of this Mark reflects the consistent hard work put in by the staff and pupils and recognises the excellent start in educational life that village schools provide. I'm very proud of all involved at both schools and congratulate them on their achievement.” Fraser Bull, Chair of Governors at Stoke Goldington CE First School and a member of the Partnership Management Committee.
“It’s wonderful to receive a national award which recognises the high standards achieved in both Literacy and Numeracy and our sincere thanks must go to the Head Teacher and all staff for putting in the hard work. Well done.” Kay Broughton, Chair of Governors at North Crawley CE School. K
