Envision
I’m sure most teenagers in Milton Keynes have heard of Envision, from a variety of gigs they have played over the past few years, and if you haven’t- check them out! Envision are a popular metal band made up of, vocalist Adam Rogers and Ben Marvin, bassist Ryan Buckles, guitarist Carl Ayres and Matt Parisi, and drummer Toby Simonds.

Hell yeah, 3 Days of Rock is back again! This is the best chance new bands will get to show off their stuff, and the best place to see some possible future rock stars starting up!
The 3 Days of Rock workshop is just starting on the 7th of April, and is a
great opportunity for musicians and vocalists between the age of12 and 18 to get out there!
Back in October the group took on board two new

Overall the night was one to remember, also with “Prozac

everyone’s eardrums out!

appreciated by the public. On Saturday the 5th of March a group of young people from Sutcliff Baptist Church walked 10 miles from Olney Market Square to the Tree Top Trail in Salcey Forest. The walk was to raise money for Newton and I expect a large amount was collected. It is a very worthwhile and spirited thing to do, and I have been assured it was a lot of fun as well!
For those of you who haven’t heard of Guitar Hero, if you like rock music, you will love it! It is brilliant to play with other people, and has levels
from easy to expert. (Obviously I stick to easyJ)

The 5th Newport Pagnell Brownies
The 5th Newport Pagnell Brownies had a great night of fun with Mrs Joan Djan who gave us a presentation called ‘Know Ghana’. The Brownies and their leaders all dressed up in traditional costumes. We looked very colourful! Then we saw some pictures from a projector about Ghana, tasted some traditional food (yummy!) and payed a game from Ghana, which everyone enjoyed. We also had some items from Ghana to look at such as drums and lots of other items. A very different evening for us – we hope Joan can come again soon! K
