Chris Ford I am 44 years old and I was co-opted onto the council during 2007. I have lived in Olney for 22 years – moving to the town on getting married. I have 3 children, Ella (14), who has progressed through all three of the Town's educational establishments, currently studying at the Ousedale annex, Abi (12), who goes to Redway School for children with severe learning difficulties and Miles (9), who is currently at the Middle School. I am a Chartered Accountant and undertake interim Finance Director work for various companies. During my time in Olney, I have been involved with the Floral Fiesta, have been a governor of the Infant School and audited several of the local clubs and societies accounts. I play keyboards and sax in local band Route 66, and can generally be found propping up the bar in the Swan on a Friday evening.
Dave Price I was elected to Olney Town Council in 1996, and served as Mayor from 1998 to 2002 I believe that Olney is a 'special' place, both in terms of its people and location, and rightly deserves the reputation for its unique ‘Community Spirit’. With your support I would like to help continue and improve our way of life.
Alan Richardson I have lived in Olney for 43 years and have served on many committees during that time, Olney Middle School PTA, Olney Floral Fiesta, Cowper Newton Society to name but a few. At present I am chairman of The Olney Centre. My love of Olney reflects in my hobby, studying the past history of the town. If voted back on the council I will continue to serve the people of Olney to the best of my ability.
John Smail I have been a member of Olney Town Council for 12 years, serving on various committees and in May 2007 was elected as Town Mayor. Having lived in Olney for 44 years I have played for Olney Rugby Club and have been a member of Olney Bowling Club for many years. I take a keen interest in the town and am therefore seeking re-election.

Michael Hughes I have been a town councillor since 2002 but took a break in service during end 2004 to April 2006 when I was co-opted back on to the Council. I am totally committed to the Town and its wellbeing and my involvement in various aspects of life in Olney, including Olney Working Men’s Club, is I feel, testament to my endeavour. I seek your approval for re- election onto the Town Council in order to continue to maintain Olney as a premier town that everyone wishes to visit or live in!
Jeremy Rawlings I’ve lived in Olney for 20 years and have been a Town Councillor for 11. I am also Chair of Governors at the Infant School, Chair of the Youth Club and Treasurer of the Alms House charity. With a full time job in IT as well I don’t get a lot of spare time but when I do I go caving and fly my aeroplane. I would welcome your support to allow me to serve the Town for another four years as a Councillor. Please use your vote on 1 May.
John Sharp I was elected to Olney Town Council in 2000. During which time I have been Chairman of Planning Liaison and represent the Council on the Neighbourhood Action Group (NAG) and various other Committees. I would like to continue to represent the interests of the town and am therefore standing for re- election.
