Gully Mouse, from Gulliver’s World, will open the fayre at 1.30pm. Horizon Radio’s Black Thunder will be on site from 2pm to 4pm.
Pre-school stalls will feature bric-a-brac, cakes and sweets, tombolas, lucky dip, hook-a-duck, face painting, wash-off tattoos, crafts and fayre games. Private stalls include candles and glass, Gill Higgins Craft (Earrings), Usbourne books, Phoenix cards, Savannah Exclusives children’s clothing, Pots of Interest plants, Little Miss Makeover (who will be providing mini manicures), local photographer Angelika Braid and the Sherington Potters (plants). Refreshments will be available.
A strip of raffle tickets costs £1 and tickets are for sale at Virginia House Stores (Sherington) and from the pre-school. Raffle prizes include family passes to Mead Open Farm and Kidsplay, one month’s
membership at Kingston Gym, a haircut and finish, six ballet lessons, books, chocolates, jewellery, plants and flowers.
The fair raises funds to help the pre- school, a registered charity, purchase books and equipment.
