Stan, Lisa and staff welcome you to our delightful village free-house and Inn
The Old Mill Burnt Down ‘The heart of the village’
Off the beaten track and situated in the delightful village of Newton Blossomville lies the ‘Old Mill Burnt Down’ public bar, restaurant and Inn. After years of bad luck and misfortune (as suggested in the free-
house’s name ~ The Old Mill burnt down!!). Stan and Lisa, the new owners, have taken on the challenge to revive the free-house and restore the restaurant into a fine dining eatery and once again turn the bar into the hub of the community. With a revived menu of freshly prepared meats, fish and vegetarian dishes, along with a scrumptious Sunday lunch and attractive specials board they hope to attract custom from villagers far and wide.
“Over the Christmas period we had many villagers pop in whose faces we had never seen before, but who had decided to venture out solely because it was the festive break. What we want to create is a friendly village pub where villagers old and new feel welcome to either dine with us or just have a drink at whatever time of the year, simply because they enjoy our company and hospitality” said Lisa.
With a background in hospitality and hotel management this shouldn’t be a problem.
