News from Lavendon School Association
The LSA were working hard in the run up to Christmas. We held a very successful Christmas Fayre in the School, and then also ran a Teddy Tombola stall at the Dickens of a Christmas in Olney.
This term, in addition to more events for the children, such as the ever popular pancakes on Shrove Tuesday, and a sponsored Easter Bunny Bounce, we also have more for adults. On Wednesday 6 February we are holding a ladies pampering evening in the school, with local therapists offering taster sessions of their treatments. In April we are holding a Ladies Fashion Show in the Village Hall on Wednesday 2 April. You can enjoy a fashion show and then shop for your spring/summer wardrobe. Also in April we are hosting a Freddie Mercury Tribute artist – again in the Village Hall – on Saturday 26 April. All of these events are open to all (over 18 only), not just parents of children at the school.
The purpose of all our activities this year is raising money for more outdoor play equipment, as part of our policy of being a healthy school. So why not come along, enjoy yourself, and in doing so help us to help the children to be more active and healthy.
