A huge crowd of local people came to watch the big switch on.The Christmas House is raising money this year for Al%u2019s Pals, the local charity supporting cancer patients and their families in Milton Keynes Hospital, at home and in the community, across MK and Northamptonshire. It%u2019s the only emotional support service off ered to cancer patients and families at home regardless of diagnosis and prognosis. The charity also provides a support group in conjunction with Olney Town Council at the Olney Centre on the 2nd Tuesday of each month, 10am-12pm Everyone is welcome to chat to volunteers Hazel Edwards and Dawn Bridge.Suzanne Brown, Chief Executive and founder of Al%u2019s Pals attended on the night to thank everyone involved in such an amazing event and to all who donated. She%u2019s delighted the charity that she set up in her Dad%u2019s name, is celebrating its fi fth anniversary and that so many people will benefi t from the monies raised from events like the Christmas House.
