I can hardly believe another year has galloped past us, and we fi nd ourselves fully into the festivities again.But that %u2018visiting Santa%u2019 piece is not the only Christmas editorial we%u2019re running this month. You%u2019ll see the festive season covered thoroughly in our Entertainments pages (p 12), it%u2019s featured, of course, in the Foodie section (p 34), it%u2019s the theme of our Quiz Corner (p 62), it%u2019s covered in a gift round-up in the Motoring pages (p 48) and it%u2019s the main element of our fabulous Christmas competition (p 28), which is so popular every year.These are all brilliant, exciting and uplifting features that I hope will put you in the mood for a wonderful few weeks ahead, fi lled with fun and happiness with friends and family as we move towards the big day.This issue also highlights some of the good things going on in Olney, Newport Pagnell and the surrounding villages as we move into December. There are lots of good things happening thanks to local people, charities, organisations, groups and societies. They%u2019re helping others less fortunate than ourselves to enjoy this time of year, too.I want to thank all those kind people and, while I%u2019m about it, I will pass on my thanks to our wonderful readers, our brilliant contributors and our great advertisers, all of whom support and help us to continue bringing you this magazine. We are now in our 30th year of delivering Phonebox Magazine, and we%u2019re pleased and proud that we have been doing this role for three amazing decades.
