November 2025 | Phonebox Magazine 57Youth club celebrates %u2018Outstanding%u2019 Ofsted scoreNewport Pagnell Youth Club Pre-School is celebrating its fourth consecutive %u2018Outstanding%u2019 rating following an Ofsted inspection in July. The report praised the highly qualifi ed staff for their dedication to exceptional care and education. Inspectors highlighted the key-person approach, which fosters strong bonds and confi dence in children. A focus on health and activity was evident when children harvested and enjoyed carrots they had grown themselves. The pre-school serves children aged two and a half to four years. Spaces are available from January; call Lyn, 07714 041494, for a tour.Busy BellesThe Sherington Belles WI have been enjoying some fabulous events over the last few weeks. In September a group visited Buckingham Palace State Rooms and had a guided garden highlights tour. Their Arts and Crafts Group have been creating amazing tree scenes using fused glass. And last month they created autumn wreaths with green, orange, yellow and red dogwood and decorated them with autumnal fl owers, berries and grains. The group meets at Sherington Village Hall on the fi rst Tuesday of each month.
