And that brings with it the opportunity for local people to support their home-grown shops and businesses by taking advantage of longer opening hours for one special evening.Dozens of businesses throughout the town have said they will be joining in the fun this year and taking part in the late-night opening programme, which brings not only Olney residents to the town%u2019s High Street and Market Place, but hundreds of visitors from outside too.It%u2019s at those times when it really starts to feel like Christmas, here in Olney. But it%u2019s more than that %u2013 the local shopping experiences are good for the town%u2019s economy and create a community hub where people meet friends and family, see familiar faces and feel welcome.Late Night Christmas Shopping on Friday 28th will fi nd a range of shops with their doors open until 8pm. Many will be off ering a glass of bubbly, some mulled wine or a chocolate or two.
