The townsfolk and businesses of Olney have donated money, time and fundraising eff orts to support those amongst us who need a bit of help through challenging times. The team at Olney Is Kind are planning further fun and inclusive fundraising activities for the next year, with the introduction of the 25 Club. This initiative is designed to make sure that the services they deliver can continue with a more sustainable approach.Olney Is Kind are asking everyone who feels able to contribute to join the 25 Club. It%u2019s a great way for you to support the local community whilst having a bit of a fl utter. Tickets are %u00a325 per quarter, and there is a total prize pot of 25% of ticket sales in the previous quarter. The remaining 75% of ticket sales goes to Olney is Kind to support local projects. So where does this money go? There are many community projects that need help, and the following are just a few examples of how Olney Is Kind supports individuals, families and organisations: * ensuring a well-stocked food bank* the continuing subsidy of mental health counselling services (in  partnership with Cobbs Garden Surgery)* donations to the surgery of funds for badly needed equipment (recent  purchases included a FENO asthma machine, a music license and a play  area and plants to brighten the reception area)* events and workshops throughout the year* fi nancial assistance for those who need it* emergency Assistance, providing a safety net for the most vulnerable  in the communityFor further information and to sign up, visit www.olneyiskind.org.uk/25-club Here%u2019s how it works%u2026%u2022 Each ticket has the same chance of winning one of 3 cash prizes.%u2022 There will be a draw every quarter when three tickets will be drawn:First Prize = 12.5% of income up to a maximum of %u00a31,000Second Prize = 7.5% of income up to a maximum of %u00a3600Third Prize = 5% of income up to a maximum of %u00a3400
