It%u2019s been an exciting and interesting spice journey and, refl ecting on his part of it, Babul acknowledges the ups and downs, including the challenges posed by the pandemic. But he%u2019s immensely grateful for the unwavering support of customers.%u201cThe community has been with us every step of the way,%u201d he says.Over the years, The Four Pillars has welcomed a fascinating mix of diners, from loyal locals to big names, including the singer Snoop Dogg, who famously ordered %u00a33,000 worth of food for himself and his management team. The rapper%u2019s promoter arranged for a private helicopter to collect the feast, which included 15 dishes of lobster cooked in cream and king prawn jalfrezi.Snoop%u2019s friends, including nightclub owner Fran Cosgrove and singer Shola Ama, had dined at the restaurant earlier and recommended it. The meal was taken the 56 miles to London for Snoop%u2019s after-show party, making for one of the restaurant%u2019s most memorable moments.In 2021, the restaurant was delighted to receive a glowing mention on Chris Evans%u2019 Radio 5 show, sending curious diners fl ocking to its doors.A Pillar of the Community Popular restaurant has been spicing up the lives of Olney diners for 25 years.At the heart of The Four Pillars%u2019 success is Babul%u2019s commitment to using fresh, high-quality ingredients, creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere, and delivering genuinely friendly service.%u201cWe aim to make every guest feel like they%u2019re visiting a friend%u2019s home,%u201d he explains. A recent charity night raised %u00a31,100 for Olney is Kind, highlighting the team%u2019s dedication to helping local causes.Babul has also supported MK Snap, hosting charity curry nights to raise vital funds for the organisation, which has been honoured with the Queen%u2019s Award for its transformative work with adults with learning disabilities. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Babul and his team provided meals for over 50 NHS staff at Milton Keynes Hospital, demonstrating their commitment to giving back in times of need.
