The Cowper and Newton Museum Olney Families’ Memories of WW1
Do come and visit our new display of WW1 stories, photos, letters and artefacts from our community, kindly shared with us by over 40 Olney families who have direct links with WW1 or have inherited stories and memorabilia from relatives. We know how precious these items are – we are so grateful to everyone who has shared with or gifted them to us.
Our display, in the Olney Local History Room, begins by introducing the history of the impressive war memorials from our town and local villages. From here the stories of our brave soldiers begin. Do visit us soon!
