Learn How To Take Pictures When The Sun Doesn't Shine
Do you ever wish the sun would come out so you could take a good picture? Come to our January 22nd meeting and learn how to take good pictures whatever the weather.
Our November meeting was an AV competition. We had a high standard of entries, and the judge enjoyed the inventiveness and originality shown by the competitors. The winning AV was by Michael Clark and titled "A walk down the Euston Road".
At our recent AGM we had a good turnout, the future programme was discussed and categories chosen for next year's competitions.
The AGM also saw the stepping down of the club chairman Colin Gadsby, who founded the club 1 5 years ago and has worked hard ever since to make it the success it is today. All the club members would like to thank Colin for his hard work and dedication.
Steve Brown will be taking over from Colin, and we wish him success. Our pictures this month won categories in our last Digital Images competition. One is by John Hughes and is titled "Lavender Girl" and won the Open Category, the other is by Lisa Winson and titled "It's in the Veins" and won the Symmetry category.
