Lavendon History Group:
Monday 25 November: Kevin Varty, “Northamptonshire Witches”. The Group has a meeting most months to listen to a speaker, usually on a topic of local or general historical interest. The talks are open to anyone, regardless of age, and are usually held on a Monday afternoon starting at 2pm in the Lavendon Village Hall. There is a charge of £1 for members and £2 for visitors or non-members. This helps to cover the cost of speakers as well as the tea and biscuits that are included. ––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––

Olney Jazz Club
A great night was had by all at OJC when Tina May blew into town and gave a superb performance at the Carlton House Club in October. The next gig will be on November 5th when Greg Abate flies in from New York to give us some sax fireworks!
