Flu injections need to be repeated every year in the Autumn before the flu season starts. The vaccination is highly recommended for all patients age 65 years or over or in a medical ‘at risk’ group.
This risk group includes patients with heart or lung problems, diabetes, kidney or liver problems, patients who have had a stroke, patients who are taking medication or have an illness that lowers immunity, carers, if you are pregnant, health and social care staff directly involved in patient care. Saturday 16th November at 7.30pm Lillian has been on the music scene for more than 30 years singing jazz, gospel and R&B. She has performed with many legendary musicians including Humphrey Littleton. She is interested in Olney’s link with the hymn Amazing Grace and has so agreed to come and sing for the Friends of Cowper & Newton Museum. It promises to be an excellent evening.
