The car first came to the uk in 1979, and has five former keepers in this country.
This last season we only competed in three national championship rounds as we joined the championship halfway through the year. We have qualified really well at all three rounds with a best of 6th out of 35 entrants.
We have consistently improved on our personal best runs at every meeting going from 11.3 seconds at our first championship meeting, down to 10.97 at the National finals.
Dipping into the 10s was a great achievement for us in our first year with the car, and our consistency has been brilliant considering the car is new to us. Hopefully we will completely upgrade the suspension and stiffen the chassis before next season, which should add to our overall consistency and lower our times.
We are planning to compete in all of the championship rounds next year and if we do, we have a good chance of finishing near the top of the table.
