NOTICE OF MEETING OPEN TO THE PUBLIC East St Parking Proposals
A public meeting is to be held at:
19:00 on Thursday 18 October 2012
The meeting will be held at the Olney Centre, High St, Olney.
Olney Town Council is proposing to provide additional parking spaces at the Recreation Ground in East St to help alleviate parking problems at peak periods.
1. A reconfiguration of the existing car parking space, to provide an additional 25 spaces; and
2. A new parking area behind the football pitch at the East St boundary, to provide an additional 36 spaces.
As well as providing additional parking for the sports clubs and users of the recreation ground, the proposal is to address the parking problems in surrounding streets at busy periods for the sports clubs.
