August is always a busy month, with lots going on and not just locally. The Olympic Games in London or London 2012 etc. has begun. I am allowed to say and write those words without fear because I have read the manual, or at least one of the manuals regarding the restrictions that apply to certain words that are related too, or sound like, in one way or another, a variety of words to do with the event. When any sort of local event occurs no one, thankfully, puts such a restriction on words used to describe the event; it would be
interesting if they did! I’m not sure but has this happened in any other country? Answers on a postcard please.
Anyway, I fear that possibly the reason we are singing and rejoicing in the office may not be because of the weather..... but more to do with the fumes from the hot tar that the workmen are using to fix those holes in the road!!!
The sun has put his hat on..... hip hip hip hooray.... as the song goes, and as we sing this little ditty we watch the holes in the Co-op car park being filled outside our place of work and we rejoice in the heat of the moment...
I must admit we had a bit of help getting the mag out this month, thanks must go to Tom Revitt of Ousedale School who did a great job. There are a few articles inside which he has written and a few more that will appear in future issues. We wish you all the best for the future Tom.
