The New Year’s resolution you’ll really enjoy!
You could sign up for a gym, go pounding the roads or many other activities. none will give you as much fun as playing tennis at olney! Join all those who have discovered or rediscovered tennis. You can join in on club sessions, sign up for coaching or just play when you feel like it – for a very affordable annual price. so try it out with or without your family and also enjoy the great social side of the club.

advance through skill stages. For

Junior News
our green u10b team saw off stony stratford A winning 6-0. Finn leaver and georgia Brock played for olney. Tom Ramsden and sam Brown kept up their 100% record in the u14 div 2 by beating a strong Milton Keynes team. in the u14 div 3 it was an all olney match with Patrick Mcgivern and Joe Bannerman beating Henry Yeomans and Josh Eglinton. Finally our u16a team of James Jermyn and daniel cornwell beat newport Pagnell 6-0 losing only 2 games! Well done to all our players.
We are running a winter tournament for all ages starting in January – see nigel’s mails for details
olney/newport Pagnell grade 4 February half term event - For the first time our club will joint host a lTA regional grade 4 event. our friends at newport Pagnell will share this event which will run over February half term. We are putting a tournament committee together and further details will be released in due course.
Junior Prizegiving Evening - This popular event is being held on saturday 21st January at the olney centre. look out for details.
Adult Winter Teams
The one match to mention is the A team’s match against the powerful stony stratford A team. Without olney’s top lineup, we just missed out on a famous draw thanks to the efforts of gavin Fowell, simon Barter, glynise King and Katie Bennett and lost 3-5. (see photo).
The c and F teams are doing well with both in second place at the halfway stage.
Sign your team up for the OTC Quiz Night – Friday 16 March at 7.30pm
This event always sells out so book your team of up to 6 players asap. it will be held at olney Town Football club and tickets will be £7.50pm including fish and chips. call 01604 696968.
Club AGM – Thursday 26 January at 7.30pm – Upstairs at the Bull in Olney.
