Susannah Cornwell – Bucks No 1!
Well done to Olney Junior Susannah who is now ranked No 1 in Bucks.
Olney Private Hire Junior Team News and Coaching
The teams are doing really well in the MKTL. The Boys 12A are leading Div 1 and the U12B have already won Div 2. The U12 Girls are leading their Division. The U14A Boys are second and the U14B Boys are winning theirs. Also the U16 Boys A and B are winning their divisions and the U16 girls have won their division early.
We are also now offering Buddy tennis hitting for our Juniors, just ask Nigel for details

Adult Team News
The Mens Bucks team won their first match against Chalfont St Giles by 6.5 v 3.5 thanks to Simon Barter, Nigel Willard, Les Folds, Mike Macdonnell, Phil Bennett and Fraser Chamberlain (see photo).
The Mens B won 7-1 against Newport Pagnell with Olney represented by Sam Maltman, Will Danskin, Fraser Chamberlain and Mike Macdonnell. The Mens C beat Wolverton after good efforts by Ted Barnes, Max Lickfold, Andrew Barr and Malcom Donne (see photo). They are still unbeaten.
The Ladies B won 5-3 against Great Linford with Kay Gibbs, Lynda Bacon, Beryl Rook and Anne Bacon the stars. The Ladies C drew 4-4 against Winslow (see photo).
Davis Optometrists American Tournament
Another successful event was held with many players competing for the first time. The final was won by Andrew and Sarah Barr against Christine Day and Sam Brown (see group and finalists photos).
Family Event
We are holding a fun Family afternoon on Sunday 10 July at 1pm. Bring a picnic, enjoy fun tennis for all ages and also have tea and cakes. Sign up in the clubhouse or call 01604 696968 to take part.
Davis Optometrists Summer Tournaments
The draws have been made and a record 72 people are taking part culminating in the finals on 11 September.
All our courts are now first class!
All our original three courts have now been skimmed and repainted so you now have four great courts to play on.
Adult Coaching for New and Rusty players
