You might just see a few pink lightbulbs scattered around the magazine this month, but don’t worry. . . it’s in a good cause.... Think Pink and Glow was set up in aid of breast cancer and by counting the number of lightbulbs in the magazine this month you can help them out. Details on the right! We’ve also got the latest up to the minute pictures and reports on Think Pink and Glow available at www.olney.co.uk/thinkpink just put that in your browser and take a look!
The weather was also in the pink last month, not only for the bicentenary celebrations for the two iron bridges in Newport Pagell, but also the Big Olney Food Festival, both were runaway successes.
There are more pictures and news on both these events inside the magazine. Someone else who must be feeling in the pink is Brian Thorogood, who has raised over £16,200 so far for his chosen charity The Childhood Eye Cancer Trust, after completing a cycle ride from London to Paris. Well done Brian, read his report on page 7.
