New Mayor for Newport Pagnell
At the Annual Meeting of Newport Pagnell Town Council Cllr Ian Carman was elected Town Mayor. A Town Councillor since 1994, Cllr Carman was also Town Mayor between 1998 and 2000. He was re-elected to that office on 10th May 2010.
Upon taking the Chair Cllr Carman
thanked Councillors, stating that
he would do his best to uphold the
good work of the Council. He
thanked Cllr Hornblow for taking the Council such a long way,
through some difficult times. Cllr Hornblow thanked the Council
for its support over the past two years. *
