Newport Pagnell & Olney Lions present ‘Motorama’
13th June 2010 – Olney Market Place – from midday
AFTER LAST YEAR’S successful Motorama, the event will be returning again this year with more vehicles and attractions to keep the motoring enthusiast happy. In addition to the Market Place, we have once again applied for road closure orders for the two adjacent roads which will enable us to maintain the event and have room enough to expand the numbers of entrants.
Roger Mann has once again kindly volunteered to be our MC. He will be using his roving Mike (whoever he is) to undertake some in depth interviews. Where necessary, Roger will translate the language of the
Petrol Head into the Queens English and will ask embarrassing questions of entrants like ‘so how much would you say you’ve spent on this car so far?’.
We will be running a competition in a number of classes and expect to have additional feature vehicles including motorbikes and
commercial vehicles. We anticipate that most shops and bars in and around the marketplace will be open, and it should be a fun day, so come down and wallow in nostalgia or admire the Ferrari corner. Bring the kids and let them vote for their favourite
car. There will be a raffle prize draw with a key prize being a ride in a special vehicle from amongst the entrants. If you have a vehicle you would like to enter, pick up an entry form from

can’t make room, you can always park up and join in the fun.
