OLNEY CAMERA CLUB
AT THE RECENT club night at the Olney Centre, Mark Wilson and Haydn Langley gave a talk about a variety of computer programs that might be useful to photographers. Mark concentrated on “digital workflow” – the process of taking photographs from the camera, managing them, making any edits and finally publishing them or producing prints. Haydn concentrated on some of the free or low- cost computer programs that are available for photographers to use.
The evening was enjoyed by all and, even if some of the members present knew some of the information given, everyone should have learned something!

WALKING WITH LLAMAS
ABBEY LLAMAS IS a not-for-profit organisation dedicate to providing low cost opportunities for clients of local charities to gain respite from their day-to-day life by walking in the countryside with our beautiful and gentle llamas.
If you are a local organisation providing care for others then we would like you to get in contact with us to arrange walking opportunities for members of your staff and/or clients.
Abbey Llamas is located in the picturesque village of Turvey and we have three llamas (Rodney, Santiago and U2) and two alpacas (Frodo and Icarus) available for trekking for 1⁄2 an hour to 1 hour in length. Our walks take place in Salcey Forest and Irchester Country Park both of which have a café and toilets. Llamas walk at a strolling pace which even those who are not especially fit would find manageable.
