As a regular supporter of your publication may I take this opportunity to send a message to your readers in order to quash speculation regarding Soul Garages Ltd.
There appear to be several rumours circulating the villages at the moment – some amusing, others disturbing, all untrue.
So, to put the record straight, Souls have not been selling enough vehicles from the Olney showroom to cover the overheads and a commercial decision was taken to close the sales operation just before Christmas. It has now been let to a prominent local businessman whom I am sure will make a great success of it.
The workshop, however, is still open and will continue to be so.
I employ a total of 11 people at the Lime Street premises and I believe they provide a valuable service to the community. Servicing, MOTs and repairs are carried out there on any make or model of vehicle.
My sales team is now based at Souls MK, which is situated in Ward Road, Bletchley and holds the franchise for Mitsubishi and MG.
There is also a workshop at Souls MK, where again we cater for any make or model of vehicle.
My office is now at the Bletchley site where I would be pleased to welcome old and new customers – indeed one or two of you have already found me.
