DanceVybz to be ‘Unleashed’ in Las Vegas!
Dance crew to represent the UK at World Hip Hop Championships in Las Vegas!
IF WINNING THE qualifiers last month to represent England at the European Hip Hop Championships wasn’t enough, DanceVybz has further reason to celebrate as Varsity Crew ‘Unleashed’ danced their way to the ‘World Hip Hop Championships’ to be held in Las Vegas in July 2010!
At a competition in London last weekend, Unleashed – a crew of eight dancers aged 12- 17, beat off stiff competition from 16 other top crews from around the UK to qualify in top spot to represent the UK at the World Hip Hop Championships.

We continue to enjoy great success,
cementing our position as the top street dance school in the UK and we’ll now be looking forward to both the European Championships in Amsterdam in June and the World Championships in Las Vegas in July.
DanceVybz is currently seeking a high profile sponsor to share in their success, gain valuable exposure from these world events and support some of the UK’s top hip hop dancers as they represent the UK.

The World Hip Hop Championships are highly respected with the entire world of hip hop descending on Las Vegas to compete in them. Unleashed qualifying in first place to represent the UK is an incredible achievement and is a true testament to the hard work and dedication of the dancers and teachers at DanceVybz.

Viewing 11.30am until 1.30pm, giving you time to find a nice venue for your lunch before it’s back to the Centre for the afternoon’s activities.
2.00pm Friends of the Museum AGM - come and find out about opportunities to get involved in helping to support our unique heritage.
2.30pm After Accreditation – Where Next for Our Museum? A session during which those people who have been involved with the massive undertaking to get our tiny local museum accredited successfully will discuss with all what accreditation means for the Museum and their hopes and plans for the future.

4.00pm AUCTION of books, prints, photographs and other items of local interest including local history books by Thomas Wright; books on Cowper, his life and works; framed copies of old local photographs; an Edwardian Post Card Album containing 158 postcards of British holiday resorts; and two metal deed boxes.
Detailed Catalogues of auction items will be available from the Museum Shop at the beginning of April or on line at www.cowperandnewtonmuseum.org.uk All are welcome to attend.
*Please note: items to be auctioned are either from donors who gave permission for sale for the benefit of the Museum, if items were found to be surplus to requirements or un-accessioned items that the Trustees seek to dispose of due to lack of storage space or de-accessioned items which are no longer part of the criteria of the Museum’s Collecting Policy.
The Museum & Gardens will be open from 10.30am until 4.30pm.
