A world exclusive for Newport Pagnell was the unveiling of the first Retro styled Shell retail shop in Newport Pagnell. Magic of Motoring Limited, the global custodians of the Shell brand pre-1980 based locally in Milton Keynes, celebrated the Grand Opening on Sunday the 21st March with a display of exotic cars, trucks and bikes.

Mario Andretti Porsche 962, the famous Betty Haig
1951 Porsche 356 PreA, an original 550 Spyder and a very rare 1955 Continental Cabriolet (the only one in the UK with a fascinating history!)
Rare Export 56 Porsche cars were also on display from the Garages at the back of the Swan Revived Hotel – including 1953 Pre-A Coupe, 1959 356A Coupe (RHD), 1960 356 Super 90 coupe (RHD) and a 1962 356 race car. During the 1960’s, AFN ran a weekly parts collection service between Isleworth and Stuttgart and the ‘AFN’ Porsche VW panel van, also on display, was very popular with enthusiasts.
In the overflow car park, Magic of Motoring displayed the famous Shell liveried Trucks
to benefit from this concept. We have created a really significant venue worthy of Newport Pagnell - one of the world’s most historically important motoring towns.
Town Chamber of Trade chair Brian Hunt said; “Having been starved of good news for some time, Newport Pagnell is now undergoing a revival of its own and we see this major investment as something that will bring

town.”
Aston Martin Works Service, Porsche GB and Classic Porsche Specialist Export 56 supported the event. MK Dons chairman Pete Winkleman and ex Leicester, Norwich and England footballer Darren Eadie cut the ribbon.
