Let me be among the first to wish everyone a Happy New Year. A lot of you out there have been up to all sorts of good deeds and charitable events this year so congratulations are in order this month to all local people and organisations for their contributions to the community.
Special mention should go to Olney Middle School, the service good schooling provides carries on throughout life, read about their achievements on page 22.
Small local business as well need our support, there are a wealth of them about so do try to support them before venturing further afield.
And finally I should say very well done to Santa, you did a sterling job last month. We had a bumper crop of Santa Letters this year and he worked very hard indeed answering them all!!
