New Ski Champion
Beth Soman, aged 11, from Olney has had a great summer season – following on from her victory at the Snowsports GB British Indoor Championships held in Manchester in April. She has been competeing over the summer in a series of nine races. Held at venues across Britain including Glasgow, Hemel Hempstead, Manchester, Milton Keynes and Castleford.
The final race was held at Castleford on 22nd August and after all her hard work Beth finished second overall in the series for her age group.
Beth has been offered a place at a top UK ski race academy, Ambition Racing, and is seeking sponsorship to meet her training costs.
